We inform you that we may use cookies on your device provided that the user has given their consent, except in cases where cookies are necessary for browsing our website. If you give your consent, we may use cookies that will allow us to have more information about your preferences and to personalise our website in accordance with your individual interests.

What are cookies?

Cookies and other similar technologies, such as local shared objects, flash cookies or pixels, are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.

Types of cookies

According to the entity that manages them

  • First-party cookies: those sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain managed by the owner of the website and from which the service requested by the user is provided.
  • Third-party cookies: those sent to the user's terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by the owner of the website from which the service requested by the user is provided, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies. Likewise, where cookies are installed from a computer or domain managed by the owner of the website itself but the information collected through them is managed by a third party, they shall also be considered third-party cookies.

According to their purpose

  • Technical cookies: those that allow the user to browse a website, platform or application and use the various options or services available on it, including those the publisher uses to enable the management and operation of the website and to enable its functions and services, such as, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering the items making up an order, carrying out the purchase process of an order, managing payment, controlling fraud linked to the security of the service, submitting a registration or participation request for an event, counting visits, using security elements while browsing, storing content for the broadcasting of videos or sound, enabling dynamic content or sharing content through social networks. Also belonging to this category, by their technical nature, are those cookies that allow the management of the advertising spaces included on the page based on criteria such as the content published, without collecting information on users for other purposes.
  • Preference or personalisation cookies: those that allow information to be remembered so that the user accesses the service with certain characteristics that may differentiate their experience from that of other users, such as, for example, the language, the number of results to be displayed in a search, or the appearance or content of the service depending on the browser or the region from which it is accessed.
  • Analytics or measurement cookies: those that allow the party responsible for them to track and analyse the behaviour of the users of the websites to which they are linked, including the quantification of the impact of advertisements. The information collected is used to measure the activity of the site in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of usage data.
  • Behavioural advertising cookies: those that allow the most effective possible management of the advertising spaces on the website. These cookies store information on user behaviour obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows a specific profile to be developed in order to display advertising based on it.
  • Geolocation cookies: used to find out where a user is located when they request a service. This cookie is anonymous and is used, for example, to offer the appropriate information depending on the country in which the user is located.

According to the length of time they remain active

  • Session cookies: designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website; they disappear when the session ends.
  • Persistent cookies: the data remain stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the party responsible for the cookie, which may range from a few minutes to several years.
